Funding for the Leachate Extraction and Containment System Maintenance program is budgeted in 07602-5303401 - $40,000 annually.


The Solid Waste Department is requesting to enter into a Single Source Contract with Integrated Environmental Technology for the Landfill leachate system maintenance.  This contract will continue to encompass the specialized maintenance that is associated with the leachate system for the active and inactive garbage cells.


The single source contract will be the most cost effective and service reliable course of action.  Integrated Environmental Technology is familiar with our leachate system and has been responsive to the needs of the County.  Staff is requesting that this contract be entered into for two (2) years.


Sole/Single Source Notice of Intent was posted per Purchasing and Contracts Policies and Procedures No. 070.IV.4.
