National Emergency Dislocated Worker Worksite Agreement With Pasco-Hernando Workforce Board, Inc., d/b/a CareerSource Pasco Hernando for Provision of Disaster Recovery and Clean-up at Environmentally Sensitive Land Preserves

Financial Impact

There is no financial impact to the county.

This use of this program through Career Source Pasco Hernando is requested due to the amount of debris damage created from Hurricane Irma on environmentally sensitive land preserves.  The program and related agreement provides that the debris damage will be cleaned up at no cost to the County.  Career Source Pasco Hernando will provide qualified manpower and personal protective gear for the cleanup.  Hernando County is required to provide the necessary qualifications (job descriptions), supervision, and equipment needed to complete the job.  The Conservation Lands Specialist will supervise work being performed.  The agreement has been reviewed and approved by Legal staff for form and content.

The intended work will initially take place at the Fickett Hammock Preserve, but the agreement can be utilized at other preserves if necessary.
